Former Giant J.T. Snow asks for public's help

Former SF Giants, and now special assistant, J.T. Snow is now rallying for another cause that has hit close to home. J.T.'s younger sister, Stephanie, whose third daughter, Raquel, was diagnosed with Wolfram Syndrome, a rare disease which typically starts as Type I diabetes, but eventually manifests into vision, hearing, and brain loss. Children that have the disease will most likely not see their 30th birthday.

So with the help from the Washington University School of Medicine outside of St. Louis, Missouri, J.T. and his sister are trying to help raise awareness and funds to find a cure for this disease. From what J.T. said, "they are really close to finding something, but they need help (funding)."

If you are interested in learning more about Wolfram Syndrome, and helping J.T. and his sister fight this disease, please visit their website at http://snowmanfund.com/default.aspx.
