Baseball games at AT&T Park on March 11-13

For those of you that are jonesing for some baseball but can't make it down to Scottsdale for spring training games, we have the second best thing your ya'! The Cal Golden Bears are hosting a baseball tourney (AT&T Invitational) at AT&T Park on March 11-13. Joining the Bears in the tourney will include: Long Beach State, Rice, UC Santa Barbara, San Francisco, and Louisiana-Lafayette. That's a pretty good list of opponents, and each game of the tourney should showcase some future Major League talent.

As of date, the Bears haven't announced pricing for tickets, but I would imagine it would be fairly cheap. Plus it would be interesting how the college players react and play the huge outfield, and another bonus would be hearing the "pinging" of the aluminum bats. Unfortunately, this will be the last time this tourney will be hosted by the Bears. By now, you've heard of the elimination of the baseball program from Cal's roster of men's sports. So don't wait for next year, attend the tourney this year - it will be your only chance!
