Showtime orders two more episodes of The Franchise

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Showtime has ordered two more episodes of The Franchise. In its inaugural season, The Franchise has averaged 760,000 weekly viewers.

The additional episodes bring the series' total order to eight, not including a spring training preview special that aired earlier this year. With the Giants' current season hanging in the balance, Showtime opted to spring for two more episodes to bring viewers through August.
